|1.Brumberg Flutes||2.Max Brumberg|
The flutes are carefully hand-crafted in meditative calmness; no machines are used. The wood—mostly elder, but also maple, pear or exotic timber has been selected by my own hand in the forests, has been cut and put in storage for at least one but often for several years. The surface is mostly stained with the juice of miscellaneous berries or walnut paring and then sealed with hard wax or shellac. The flutes obtain their very own and individual character through carvings, inserted mussels or stones.
